Another defining milestone in the rise of the Northern Super League - a new purpose-built women’s soccer stadium made possible through a landmark investment from the Government of Canada, Province of Manitoba and City of Winnipeg.
The Northern Super League is taking another major step forward in its growth and evolution, with Winnipeg’s Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex set to host a new stadium as the official home of the city’s Northern Super League (NSL) club. The stadium and other facility enhancements are being made possible through a significant joint investment from the Government of Canada, the Province of Manitoba and the City of Winnipeg.
As part of the transformation, SixFive Stadiums will lead the development of a new, purpose-built modular stadium at Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex, creating a fan-first, high-energy environment designed specifically for professional soccer with benefits to the whole Winnipeg soccer and sporting community. The new venue will bring fans closer to the action while offering a vast array of seating options, including social areas, supporter and premium seating and suites. It features new FIFA-grade turf, upgraded lighting, and modern amenities designed for both professional players and the local Winnipeg soccer community.

For Winnipeg NSL co-founder and Chief Sporting Officer Rob Gale, the development of a permanent home represents an important step in the continued growth of both the club and the league, with elite sport at the foundation of the project.

The redevelopment also marks an important step in the continued expansion of the Northern Super League across Canada.

Vancouver-based SixFive Stadiums will bring its innovative modular stadium system to Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex, offering a forward-thinking approach to venue development that gives Winnipeg’s NSL club the flexibility to grow over time. Designed specifically around soccer and its supporters, the stadium will feature purpose-built sightlines, an intimate atmosphere and expandable capacity, bringing fans closer to the action while allowing the venue to adapt as the club and its community grow.
