Montreal Roses FC have been presented with the Northern Super League’s Supporters’ Shield after finishing atop the standings with 45 points to claim the 2026 regular-season title. The achievement marks the first Supporters’ Shield in club history.

Now in its second season, the NSL Supporters’ Shield recognizes the club that finishes atop the regular-season standings, celebrating consistency and achievement throughout the campaign.

“Winning the Supporters’ Shield is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the consistency and quality the Roses demonstrated throughout the season. Congratulations on this historic achievement and a well-earned regular-season title.”

- Christina Litz, President, Northern Super League

This is a landmark moment for the Montréal Roses, for our community and for everyone across Montréal. Claiming this first regular-season title speaks to the strength of our foundations and to the ambition that has driven us since the franchise was launched. This success belongs to everyone who brings Stade Boréale to life. It is a moment of immense pride to celebrate this historic first trophy together tonight before turning our full focus on the playoffs.

- Hugues Léger - President, Montréal Roses FC

With three playoff spots secured by Montréal Roses FC, Ottawa Rapid FC and AFC Toronto, the final berth will be determined by the remaining regular-season matches between Vancouver Rise FC and Calgary Wild FC on Sunday, and AFC Toronto and Halifax Tides FC on Monday. The four-club playoff field will then be set as the NSL turns its attention to the Championship Playoffs.
