Toronto, Meet Croix Soto and Cloey Uddenberg!
AFC Toronto made waves this week with the announcement of two incredible signings: Croix Soto and Cloey Uddenberg.
Croix Soto: A Defensive Powerhouse
The Six welcomes Croix Soto, whose career in the NWSL with Kansas City Current and Houston Dash speaks volumes about her skill and leadership. A standout at the University of Oregon, Croix earned All-Pac-12 honors and helped set defensive records, including an impressive nine shutouts in a single season.
Now, Croix is ready to anchor Toronto’s backline as the team builds its foundation for success. Her steady presence, grit, and passion for the game will undoubtedly make her a fan favourite.
"This team is building something special, and I’m ready to bring my experience and determination to help lay the foundation for success," Croix shared, capturing the spirit of what’s to come.
Cloey Uddenberg: Toronto’s Homegrown Dynamo
From local fields to the international stage, Cloey Uddenberg has made her mark as a midfield maestro. A U SPORTS All-Canadian and OUA MVP at the University of Guelph, Cloey continued her standout performances in the NCAA, contributing to South Alabama’s undefeated season and excelling at Purdue.
Her international experience is just as impressive—captaining St. Kitts & Nevis U20s through World Cup and Olympic qualifiers—and she’s no stranger to League1 Ontario, where she earned Midfielder of the Year honors in 2023. With hometown pride fueling her drive, Cloey is ready to make Toronto proud.
